Sometimes, it’s wonderful to see two consecutive posts come together so easily.

As I blogged yesterday, there was a horrifying assault in Kentucky against Lauren Valle - an activist with MoveOn - and several male Rand Paul supporters.  At the time of my post, the assailants were stilled unnamed.  There were faces, voices, and an ideology attached to them, but that was it.  (Disclaimer for fairness’s sake: the only proof that they were conservative leaning is that they were dressed as Paul supporters.  That was neither legitimate proof of their political beliefs nor does it mean that Rand Paul is personally responsible for any violent actions committed by his supporters.)

Well, until today, when the big, bad interwebz attacked.  Using a small amount of investigation, a few Tea Party members and other conservatives dug around and found the identity of the two men involved in Valle’s attack.  This is detailed further in the Lisa Graas and Gawker links.  The following is just a blanket links dump of stories and blog posts relating to the assault.  Featuring the link here is not an endorsement of any website or media outlet featured below.  (Just for clarification’s sake.)

I’m feel pretty confident saying that it’s not a hoax now.  Just sayin’.
